Born in Antarctica to a female scientist and unknown Spetznas soldier, he was always alone with his mother and few other researchers, he was curious about the research and the ice around him, always making art of the terrain, he was talented in it and some of his art is still somewhere hanged in CIA headquarters. In his teen years, the base was attacked by unknown soldiers of to him unknown flag and his mother alongside other researchers killed by those soldiers, he could escape by the boat they had stationed nearby for ocean exploration, he lost trust in his "home country" of Russia, so he traveled into South America as quick stop after the events back home. Weak, hungry and dehydrated Joseph got into Argentina where some villagers took care of him, tought him many things that he did not have in Antarctica and sight of other children melt his heart that he was not longer alone, but still his heart was cold from the sight of his family being killed by those in Antartica. He spent many years in South America as mercenary, trying to find out who were the men that killed his family. He heard about some Nazi base that was still kept after the World War two, that intrigued him and wanted to search for something to make that a truth. He made a nickname for himself and continued his mother's research that he saw. How to arm ice against enemy. His research was noticed by CIA in some operation going on in Bolivia, the land where Joseph tested his weapon and it got a bit out of control where he turned many cartel members into ice. CIA did find Joseph and transported him into USA for questioning. CIA agents that were questioning him were intrigued by his intelect and ability to arm ice against enemies, he spoke truth and CIA gave him a choice, help them to find the Nazi's in Antarctica or go into federal prison. Joseph was shocked that they knew about the Nazi's and that just confirmed it. He became a CIA operator with his research being financed by CIA.
